Welcome to the London Met Computing Show Archive
Welcome to the London Metropolitan University Computing Show website. This website presents an archive of the events from the Faculty of Computing show on 16th September 2008.
The show took place at the Graduate Centre, Holloway Road, London N7 8DB, a prestigious venue designed by the architect Daniel Libeskind, located at London Metropolitan University's north campus.
The inaugural show for the newly formed Faculty of Computing offered a range
of events and workshops from Communications Technology and Networks, Database
Design
and
Management, Business Information Systems, Multimedia, Computer Games, Computer
Technology, Internet Security, E-Learning, Statistics, Decision Science and Mathematics.
The show was opened by a keynote speech from Peter Cambridge, course leader for BSc Internet Computing, followed by Chris Dyson, course leader for BSc Digital Solutions, Fiona French and Martin Wright for BSc Computer Games, and Hassan Kazemian, head of the Intelligent Systems Research Centre in the Faculty.
Throughout the day visitors were able to test and play multimedia and games showcases produced by our graduates, featuring Candice Greenland and her Computer Aided Design work of the London Eye, and Computer Games students Amish Patel and Tolga Sanvaren with their 3D game Anagennesis.
