The Centre for Civil Aviation is a fully JAA-Approved Flight Training Organisation with 30 years of successful theoretical training for professional and private pilots.

The department evolved in the early 1970's from the School of Navigation of the Sir John Cass Foundation through the City of London Polytechnic into London Guildhall University. To date we have trained upwards of 3000 pilots in both theoretical and synthetic flight training. We are now fully approved for the presentation of European Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) Professional and Private Licence Courses We now provide both residential and distance learning theoretical studies courses to meet JAA requirements. In addition we offer synthetic flight training.
