You use the exported text file to move bookmarks to a different computer and import through the “File > Import Bookmarks” option in Safari or Firefox.




Follow these steps to backup your Safari bookmarks


  1. 1.Launch Safari (Located in the Application folder or the Dock)

  2. 2.From the Menu Bar, select “File > Export Bookmarks”. This will bring up the “save” menu.

  3. 3.Name and save the file on the Desktop.

Backing up your Safari bookmarks
